Our respite provision provides home from home support for people with learning disabilities.
We have two respite bedrooms, one at Healey House in Whitworth, and one at Woodleigh House in Waterfoot, Rossendale.

We provide support to people who normally live at home and who receive an allocated budget for respite provision. Our aim is to provide the person with a pleasant and enjoyable experience whilst they are visiting with us on respite. The service may be able to support people through emergency admission for a longer period in exceptional circumstances.

The team’s approach is service user led and we work closely with individuals, their families, health professionals and any other relevant services. We will listen to people and their families or representatives to ensure their views direct the way we support people on respite with us.

Our teams are committed to supporting people to maintain their normal activities while taking a break from home as well as providing a stimulating and safe environment.
