We support everyone's right to take positive risks and to live as independently as possible, whatever their additional needs. We have a clear vision and plan to reduce the use of restrictive practices within our services, in direct acknowledgement of the N.H.S. Transforming Care Programme. Manager's and front-line staff will endeavor to work together to ensure that the use of coercive &
restrictive practice is minimized & the misuse of restraint is prevented. The use of restrictive techniques will be assessed & planned to meet the specific needs of the individual. Any restrictive practice requires clear justification, this will be evidenced and al of our support
teams are accountable for their practice.
Our staff teams are essential in delivering responsive and consistent service for people. A strong value base, focus on kindness and building relationships, supervision, training and personal support al equate to developing the right attributes, behaviours and attitude from our employees, who are the defining key to our high quality care and support.
